"The Circle Of Llife"..........PIZZA! We all know it. And every kid LOVES pizza, so when I planned a "Dough-NOT Grow Up" party for my twins' 10th birthday gathering, with a few friends, I KNEW I had to include pizza in the mix. I am really jumping topics every day week on this blog. SMH. Haha. I am hopping from vacations, to business trips, to birthday gifts, and back to vacations. There is just never a dull moment. I think it keeps things interesting (you know, just incase a certain topic doesn't interest my readers). We'll make the next two months like a soap opera or a sequel.
So aside from the trip to Universal Studios, WHICH was supposed to be Lilah and Jax's birthday gift (but that's always hard to stick to), they each received a BIG gift and then some little gifts. We always try to make everything financially "Even Steven".
With just a little less than a week before Christmas, our elves arrived with the cutest baker's cap and apron that read, "I love my elf" and "I love my family!" AND we LOVE Jesus, so we were excited when we saw that they left us all of the necessary goodies to bake a cake for Him, for His birthday!
Who's ready for the Super Bowl on Sunday? I'm about 50% of the way there. I have our table decor and one snack item, but I need to get focused on the foods A.S.A.P. We've had some insane weather lately that has caused school cancellations and delays and then my lipsense business has blown up MORE THAN average these last two weeks, so it's keeping me busy. I cannot believe I am saying this, but I have yet to post on last year's Super Bowl tradition that I created BUT, NOW seems more appropriate than ever!

After posting the above video, to both my Instagram and Facebook accounts, my company SeneGence asked if they could share it on their facebook page. AH, DUH! I mean, that request was ALOMST as amazing as it would be if I won the Billboard video submission contest in New York City's Time Square. The repost from SeneGence created over 12,300 views and over 235 likes. That's pretty dang exciting if you ask me!!!! On day 8, our elves arrived with the most impressive SNOW scene EVER!! You have got to check this out. It came complete with everything needed for the best snow day. First up, (Above) snowballs for a snow ball fight and a new, "TY" snowman stuffed animal. (Below) Napoleon arrived with some new snow gear: ear muffs, a scarf, and a snow tube! Yea baby!
Then, there were some cute, snow snacks, like white cheddar cheese balls that look like snow balls, hot cocoa gold fish, a bag of marshmallows, and a jar of whip cream.
New snow toys! How adorable is that penguin builder? This "sno" toy came from Target (Shhh, don't tell my kids that. They think Santa makes these gifts). Hehe. They are called Sno-Buddies.

And to drink hot cocoa. The reminder included a hot cocoa bar, which came complete with...
New cocoa mugs... SNOW FUN!
Ghiradelli hot cocoa, (duh), a candy cane, and milk chocolate lollipops.
The chocolate lollipops were in the shape of a Reindeer and a Penguin.
And because one of our kids loathes chocolate, our elves brought him snowflake marshmallows!
Do we have the BEST elves are WHAT? Below, it looks like they are ready to go sleigh riding. They brought their snow friends too. See frosty on his sleigh?
Oh man, a snowman squishy, a BIG wubble bubble "FULLA" snow, and some snow window clings. Can you say, "#ElfGoals"?
And then fell the REAL snow! We got a good 10-12 inches on this day. (I think). AND how funny that TODAY, the day I share the snow scene, it's supposed to snow either tonight or tomorrow!
This elf scene was for sure WORK! And it was even worse to clean up. LOL! But... the memories and reactions are all worth it.
On Day 7, our elves made breakfast for our children. Man, I would let those elves stay year round if it included breakfast and dinner each day/night.
Breakfast came complete with some Christmas Crunch, OJ, and an apple/bacon combo that looked similar to a deer.
The bacon represented the antlers. The apple represented the deer or RUDOLPH.
I don't eat cereal because, well SUGAR and CARBS, but I won't deny this looked yummy. I think it's been 12+ years since I have had bowl of cereal.
Those cute Santa placemats came from Kohl's. I actually bought them last year, for the elf on the shelf, BUT failed to use them. Whoopsie! There was a reason though. I needed them for this day.
I could handle more elf on the shelf scenes like this because it benefits everyone and isn't so messy!
On Day 4, our elves arrived and built our kids a "gingerbread" house. I think they misunderstood Santa. It's ok! My kids will show them what Santa really meant.
Napoloeon, Rosie, Ariel, and Chippey arrived with pre-assembled gingerbread homes for Ty, Lilah, and Jax to create their own masterpieces.
However, their home was made out of "ginger" and "bread". HAHAHAHA.
Each year, when we do gingerbread houses, I always purchase several additional packs of embellishments for my kids to use. Jax was cute, he said, "I want pretzel sticks because I want to make a log house.
These came from Sam's Club and were truly the most impressive kits that I have ever seen. They had every single embellishment, which I have seen before, but they also included three frosting colors: white, blue, and green.
Silly Napoleon. There he goes again... just one goofy shenanigan after the next. #TeenElf
It was hard waisting (6) slices of bread to produce this elf scene, but I had to do it.
If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen all of these Elf scenes already. I'm sorry you are seeing this for the second time. Although this blog is for anyone who desires to read it, this blog was and is primarily an electronic photo album used to document our family memories. Let's face it, no one does photo albums anymore. Do they? This blog is all my children will have to prove that they were once kids and had a really cool childhood. And if you don't follow me on Instagram, I apologize I am posting on old Christmas stuff. Soon enough, I will be done documenting a past holiday. Thank you for your patience.
Well the elves came bearing gifts and a small message geared mostly towards Jax's behavior on Sunday (although we could all use a little lesson in JOY). Jax left church Sunday and clearly didn't let the message penetrate his heart because his JOY was lacking almost immediately. He spitefully went home and touched the elves, after being grounded, so they couldn't move. AND. THEY. DIDN'T. MOVE.
Any guesses what the wrapped gifts could be? My kiddos each received a box of delicious and unique flavored candy canes because if you turn those candy canes upside down.... they are the letter "J".

Every year, Darren and I try to discard Christmas decor that is old or broken. Our styles have also changed and our financial abilities to purchase new things, as we get older, has become much more possible and flexible. With that being said, we try to add something NEW each year. This year, we spotted a LARGE leg lamp at Bed, Bath, and Beyond! It was pricey, but we HAD TO HAVE IT!
After we put it up, we started getting direct messages and texts from neighbors and others who know where we live and just happened to be driving by. LOL! People LOVED it!
AND WE LOVE IT TOO!
And then, we had Jax reenact the scene in the movie! Hehe!
