100 More Years

Sniff, sniff.... This song makes me think of Lilah, on her future wedding day, and leads me to want to scream "TIME SLOOOOOOW down!" Currently, Cohen and her claim they are getting married.  LOL!  She knows that Daddy and her two brothers will have to approve any viable candidates. We all know Jax would say "YES!!!!" to Cohen.  The only BETTER thing than having Cohen as his best friend would be to have him as his brother-in-law.  Lilah knows that God already has that special person picked out for her, but we won't be allowing that to happen until she's 30.  LOL! Until then, we have taught her that she should only have eyes for her daddy.

At some point, Jax said, "I'm taking off my pajamas and wearing what the wrestlers wear. " LOL! Hence the reason for these shots without pajamas.

He turned his back, to her, for one second and she jumped on him.

There was loads of laughter, but here, Jax exclaimed, "You're going down!"

"Butt" there she goes again.  She's back up on her toes.

Random Acts Of Kindness!

Since the summer began, I have been trying to teach the kids about random acts of kindness.  One of the things we have tried to do, as much as possible, is to bring in our next door neighbors trash can. After a few weeks, my neighbor actually called me and asked if we were do that.  LOL!  It is so nice doing things for people for NO GOOD REASON! A few times I have treated the person behind me, at a fast food restaurant, and now every time I run through Starbucks or Hardees (for a diet coke), the kids say, "Mom, you should pay for the person behind us!"

Give it a try!  I think you'll be impressed at how much it really does make YOUR day to give to others.

Lilah and Jaxon's 1st Dentist Appointment

Lilah and Jax had their 1st dentist appointment two weeks ago.  The appointment was at 1 pm, which was torture for me because they were so anticipatory, and all day long they asked "Is it time yet!"  In the morning, we watched a few youtube videos on what they would expect.  They learned about "Mr. Thirsty", the moving chair, and why they had to wear sunglasses.

The only bummer was that the dental hygienists worked on them at the SAME time. This made mommy a little nervous for them both. I had to walk back and forth between rooms.  This is one difficult moment in the twin world.  I was thankful to have Tyson with me though.  He had come home early from school that day because he wasn't "feeling well".  It was a blessing in disguise.  Thank you God!!!!

We left there with great news.... NO CAVITIES!!!!!

This was my FAVORITE purchase, while in Charlotte, with my hubby!!!!!  I'm pretty sure I finally have something NO ONE in Roanoke or Salem, VA has.  :)  Let the trend begin, LOL!

My sister WHITNEY, far right (next to the owner), had the honor of "hanging out" with our SOON-TO-BE President (I HOPE) at her boyfriend's father's restaurant in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.  Pretty cool!!!  Leave it to Darren to find it on yahoo on ACCIDENT.  HOW FUNNY!
