"Ty-The-Builder, he will fix it!"

Today, we took the kids to Lowe's, but not for our needs. We took the kids there for a children's "build and grow" clinic. From project basics to giving your child the opportunity to say, "I built it!", Lowe's build and grow kid's clinics are a great way to help build confidence! Bring the kids into any Lowe's store and build a wooden project. Each participant also receives a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch, and a certification of merit upon completion of their project. The Lowe's, in Salem, does this every other Saturday at 10 am and it's 100% FREE.

We arrived at Lowe's, in Salem, at 9:50 am.
We walked in on the lumber side of the Lowe's building.
Tyson's latest craze...LUMBER!!!! AND nailing nails into wood.
This week's project was called "Monster Machine".
Daddy helped Tyson read the directions.
Daddy gave Ty a great head start on building the project.
But then Ty refused to let daddy do the fun part. He wanted to do all the nailing.
Each of our children received a Lowes apron. So cute!
A hammer!!! Lilah was not interested in using this. She just sat back and watched her brothers build.
Jax did a great job nailing the tiny nails into the wood.
AND all on his own, minus a little direction, from mommy, as to where the nails were to go.
Lilah sat and watched everyone build.
The finish project. I thought it was cool that they incorporated the upcoming holiday, Halloween, into this building project. When completed, the kids have a wooden box filled with three wooden blocks. The blocks are removable. The top block consists of 3 monster heads. The middle block is 3 monster torsos. The bottom block contains 3 pair of monster legs. They can create any monster combo their little heart desires.
