Apples For Teachers ~ Valentine's Day 2014

Gotta love those "GALS" (bus driver and teachers) on Valentine's Day! So what did we give those beloved humans?
First up, a trip to Fruitions a.k.a. Elderberry's.  The gift certificate covers a gourmet sandwich wrap and an ultimate smoothie.
Notice the cute lips attach to the straw, so when they drink it, their lipstick will be perfect.  Ahem... maybe it's time they use their lipsense gift certificates I gave them to buy the best lip color ever.  Also, aren't the details on the cups adorbs? "Be Mine, Hugs & Kisses, I Love You Berry Much!"
I also included some cozy, heart-shaped socks because they "knock our socks off" all  year long.
Strawberries & Cream Chocolate Hearts (Pink & Ivory).
Simple, sweet, and practical!!!!
 Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Back-To-School "Apples" for Teachers ~ 2017

Every year, I try my best to shower teachers with love and showing my appreciation by presenting them gifts.  I typically give a gift for every holiday, including Halloween and St. Patrick's Day. Yea, I know. It's a lot of extra work, but they are so deserving. The above gift was for Ms. Weikle.  She is the other 3rd grade teacher that the twins will have for a few classes.  On back-to-school night, her room was DECKED OUT in EMOJI stuff.  So, I just filled this cute, emoji coffee mug with some goodies to help kickstart her day!

Who doesn't love snickers?  "Sleepy", the perfect word for the first day back at work/school.
I followed that up with a $10 gift certificate to Starbucks. Duh... when you are sleepy, you go to Starbucks.  I sure hope she likes coffee.
 Fun paper clips...
 Fun pencils...
 Stamps...
Emoji tape?! So cool and oh so fun, not to mention so appropriate for her classroom.

Ms. Scott received a hand-made gift bag filled with...
An apple, mason jar.
And a $25 gift certificate to Outback and/or Carrabba's.
 Fun pencils...
Stamps... and the cutest light up apple lights.  You can see ONE of the lights hanging out of the bag, but it was really an entire STRAND of lights.
The office staff and bus driver received mini cupcakes from Bubblecake.
Yum!
Ms. Robin, the bus driver, also received a 3 wick candle, Apple Pumpkin, from Bath & Body Works.
Nothing over the TOP exciting or creative, BUT I know they appreciated it ALL very much!

First Day Of Third Grade - Jaxon Bolling

My Jax is all about being comfortable and all that really means is wearing clothes that are comfy.  I tried my best to design his first day of school outfit around his desires.  So, he wore army/camoflauge "joggers" and graphic t-shirt that reads, "Ain't No Momma Like The One I Got!" Originally, I spotted it at Stellar Seven, but they were out of stock for his size. I immediately went to ETSY and found this seller. It worked out great because her shirts were cheaper anyway and just as nice.  Jax was so proud to wear his shirt and of course, I was so flattered.

Jax's first day of school sign was all geared towards the Dallas Cowboys and football, as you can see.  Jax's sign said, "I love football, watermelon, Dude Perfect, and sleepovers with Cohen." If you are interested in creating a sign like this one, click here.
I am really not sure any little boy could be any cuter than he is.  Jax is our little guido.  LOL!
After dropping Ty off at football practice, I ran to GreenHill Park to capture these photos.
His BIG brother Ty's personality really came out in many of these photos.
I love his sweet demeanor and those dimples TOTALLY melt.my.heart.
Jax is most excited that his buddies Evan and Matthew are in his class.  He is also able to spend the entire school day with his twin sister.
He is ONE cool DUDE!
I allowed Jax to pick out a book bag of his choice and of course he picked out a Dallas Cowboys book bag.
AND you can't have a Dallas Cowboys book bag without a matching lunchbox right? This came from a sports store in our local mall.
Just like Lilah's lunch, Jax's lunch wasn't anything over the top.  I made him ham and cheese roll ups, a buttered Hawaiian roll, grapes/blackberry combo, sun chips, and a new snack mix made by crunch.  Of course, I enclosed a sweet note and a FUN pencils from Office Maxx and Michaels.
After school, on the first day of school, is ALWAYS so anticipatory to them.  They know I greet them with some fun goodies.
What did Jax get? Well, GLUE, to make MORE slime.
Witness gear: We love to share our LOVE of Jesus with others.  "For by Grace you have been saved through faith!" Ephesians 2:8
New sharpies in COLOR BURST colors and poster board.  Jax LOVES to color and create.
A blue raspberry sucker!
 A gift card to iTunes!
AND, drumroll, the NEW G.O.A.T. Edition of Madden 18.  This game was over $80.00, so that's why his stash looks WEAK! He had to share this with his brother, but STILL a great after school gift.
Jax is a little worried about 3rd grade being hard.  He said, "I got one B is 2nd grade and second grade was easy.  So I am so worried I will get 2 B's."  LOL! I, of course reassured him to just try his best.

First Day Of Third Grade ~ Lilah Bolling

The Summer is over and this girl was off to 3rd grade on Wednesday!
I cheat and take my children's back-to-school photos, days before school starts BECAUSE, duh, it's easier.
From the top of her head to her feet, my pretty princess is sporting a BIG hair bow, Bed Head CurlyPop Curls, a Zunie Belted Jean Tutu Dress, and Sunset Glow Converse, low top "sneaks". Um, HOW STINKING adorable is her outfit?
I was very thankful that she was cooperative.  Normally, she complains about the sun in her eyes, gnats, or how hot it is.  On this particular day, the Solar Eclipse was about to surface and there was an amazing shade.
I am over those printed back-to-school signs and wanted something more creative/fun/original.  So, I ordered these signs from ETSY.  I was so IMPRESSED. Interested in ordering one for your child? Click here.
Lilah is definitely excited to be in the 3rd grade.  She loves the idea of being able to be a part of the SCA and switching classes.  She is growing up so fast.  It's certainly NOT easy watching, but I look forward to seeing who she is becoming as a person/individual.
Liley decided on this Northfield Bloom Burst BackPack, from Pottery Barn Teen. Which is currently sold out.
This is her lunch box from TJ Maxx.  We looked EVERYWHERE.  Nothing was that exciting, so we settled on this and another practical lunch box from Sam's Club. I love that it had lips on it. LOL!
Her first day of school lunch wasn't anything over the top.  I made her a sandwich, grapes/blackberry combo, sun chips, and a new snack mix made by crunch.  Of course, I enclosed a sweet note and some FUN pencils from Target's dollar section.
After school, she had so many fun surprises waiting for her.  This is a first day/last day of school tradition that I created over the years.
I snapped photos of all of the individual items, just incase you need a closer look.
