Playdate at the Carroll's Home!

Today we had a playdate lined up after we attended praise and worship at our church. Which by the way, anyone who is reading this, if you do not attend church or are a member of another church, this is still a great gathering for your children to be a part of. We meet on Thursdays from 10:00 am - 10:30 am. The children enjoy singing and listening to God's word.

The playdate consisted of all of the ladies from our small group and their children (minus Shannon and Dawn). I was really anticipating the get together. It's always so nice to be in the presence of others with liked minds, morals, values, and faith.

Unfortunately, due to the amount of children, it was fairly chaotic and the adult conversation was very limited. Then, to add insult to injury, Erin busted out the shaving cream for the kids to paint with. I'm really just teasing... the kids LOVED it. And afterwards, they smelled really good too.
It was just making me a nervous wreck to have so many kids wondering around with their hands FULL of shaving cream. Every child at least ONCE, attempted to finger paint Erin's furniture or walls. AAAAHHHH!

Lilah gave Jax a great big slap on the face. Can you see her handprint?

Erin, thank you for being such a gracious host. I can assure you that Julia and Mason WILL NOT be playing with shaving cream at my home :) but thank you for allowing my children to do it at yours.
As you see from this picture above, Jax can only tolerate a mess for so long. He was very into cleaning up the shaving cream. He's a boy after his own mother's heart.

In these photos, you are viewing a very weird situation. I was scooting by to sit back down in my seat, and as I did that, a button on my pants got wrapped around the mini blinds. I guess this is the dilemma with having a large buttocks. Jody was working diligently to get my tail end removed from Erin's blinds. After several long minutes, poor Erin had to finally cut the mini blinds in order to free me. Let me know if I can replace the blinds for you Erin.
Lilah was genuinely concerned. She kept saying, "Stuck!"
