If You Don't Tell Your Kids, The World Will!

It’s been a while since I did a “Getting To Know You” post... Did you know that the 11th most searched word on the internet is the word "sex"? AND NOT just by adults. Kids are hearing that word at school and are curious what it means. So they look it up on Google.  Lord God, please NEVER have my children look up that word... Oh the visual images that they will see will haunt them for life. ðŸ˜«ðŸ˜® ðŸ˜¢  Keep reading!

Soul Food!

Your life as a believer begins (justification), continues (sanctification), and culminates (glorification) by looking to Jesus Christ.  You never get over Him or what he has done for you.  The goal and thrill of your life should be to "Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world".  Gaze on Jesus Christ!!

"Beloved, we are God's children now and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.  And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure."  1 John 3:2-3

We have looked in faith to Christ, beholding God's atoning Lamb.
He for our sins was sacrificed; thus we, though dead, have been born again.

We still look each day to Christ and by the unveiled view are changed.
The Spirit wields the Truth with might, conforming us to the Son unstained.

We will look one day on Christ when He appears, triumphantly.
That blessed hope now purifies, till seeing Him, we like Him will be.

Jesus, Your beauty fills our eyes - first looking, we were justified;
Now gazing deeper sanctifies, till fact to face, we are glorified. "

Truthful Tuesday!

Here are some new truths about my BOYS...

Tyson is now wearing BOXERS and loves to sleep wearing ONLY them ! No way!!! So cute.
Jax has recently discovered that he can spit AND if he so desires to spit, he does. It doesn't matter WHERE. Today, he found a "hole" in our door frame, stood on his tippie toes and spit inside of it. I almost strangled him, but instead he received a spanking. See if you can spot the spit bubbles inside the door's hardware.
And Jax's most absolutely grossest habit is picking his nose and wiping it where ever he needs to. I spotted this little booger, pun intended, on my headboard, after pulling the pillows off of the bed. GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! These kids are going to break me for SURE... wait, I think they already have. Imagine finding boogers where you least expect them?!?!?! Sorry to my guests if they spot one. Three kids is more than one person can humanely handle. How does that "Octomom" do it?

These pics were taken with my iphone, hence the reason the quality is so poor.

Kids Say The Darndest Things!

The other day, I was in the middle of taking Jax's poopy diaper off after nap. He is a consistent pooper at 1:30 pm. It's hysterical that you can narrow down your child's bowel movements to the minute. Jax - 1:30 pm, Tyson - 4:45pm and Lilah - 5:25 pm. Anyway, as I was wiping Jax's hiney, a funny conversation took place between Tyson and I...

Tyson: "Phew... I am never having a baby!"
Me: "Why are you never having a baby?"
Tyson: "Because they stink and I'm not willing to change diapers."
Me: "Oh it's not that bad and besides, I want grandkids, so you have to have babies."
Tyson: "Wait... never mind, I'll have kids, it's not like I'll have to do anything. I'll be at work most of the time."
HA!!!!! I guess he thinks that daddies don't have to do much because they work most of the time. This is surprising because his daddy is VERY involved and is an amazing team player. I guess he's not very observant. Not sure how he can miss it!!!! Either way, I thought it was so hysterical that that came out of his mouth. I have to admit, it gave me a little satisfaction to hear that Tyson thinks moms do it all!

Truthful Tuesday!

Conversation between Darren and Ty

Darren: "Ty, is there ever a time in your life that you recall not having Lilah and Jax around?"

Tyson: "No! No, I don't!"
Isn't that crazy how your mind allows you to forget things?
I'm so glad God gave him a brother and a sister!
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. ~ Isaiah 55:8

Truthful Tuesday Part 2

I wouldn't normally do (2) Truthful Tuesdays, but I could not let this one slip.... and I didn't want to wait until NEXT Tuesday, because this story would be OLD NEWS by then.

This bag is my returns bag. It sits in the back of my car and when I have something to return, the item goes in it, so that it's not just laying around the house or all over the car. The bag goes everywhere I go.
Today, inside the bag are two really nice shirts from BUCKLE. You know the store that sells jeans for $150.00 per pair?
Well, the shirts are in the bag because they have to be returned. WHY? The alarm tags are on them AND NOT because we bought them and the store clerks forgot to remove the alarm tags, but because my sweet, innocent, 2-year-old daughter stole them without our knowledge. I noticed them as I was unloading the car on Saturday while shopping at Valley View Mall with Darren, for his Spring attire. We had NO time to run back into the mall and return them, so I called the store and told them what happened. Needless to say, I will be returning the two shirts on Wednesday. Each shirt cost $42.50 a piece. Do you think they will get her for grand larceny?

Truthful Tuesday!

This is Tyson on his way to the bus stop. Yes... he is in his pajamas, but rest assured, NOT because I didn't have time to iron his clothes or because he didn't have time to get dressed. The school is having pajama day today for all of the Kindergarteners. I LOVED IT! It was stress free, hassle free, iron free and added so much time to our morning!!!!

He has a puss on his face, somewhat normal for this kid, but he was annoyed that I was requesting a photo. I think he thinks he's "too cool!" or something.

Truthful Tuesday!

It's a fact that it's been 3 weeks since Tyson has slept in his own bed. He has been sleeping in the crib with Jax. I told Ty he had to sleep in his bed last night and Jax got really upset asking for "bro bro" to sleep with him in his crib. So I caved! He's going on week 4 of sleeping in a crib. We're digressing in this house. Haha! At least I know we could own a smaller home if we wanted or needed.
