Saved $9.00 making my girl a homemade, brown butter, vanilla, sugar-free caramel, iced latte!!!! I’m truly trying to teach my kiddos that price gouging is unacceptable and that anything you can buy out, you can make at home yummier and cheaper. And you can even have cuter cups and straws too. They may never listen and they may spend their last dime doing the opposite of what I say, but I will die trying to drive that message home, loud and clear!! And when they have no money I get to say I told you so.

Mi Casa. My Coffee. The Bolling house is now serving espresso shots and lattes. 

In the last two weeks, I have officially tried espresso. I usually drink coffee (bean water really) or a 55 calorie iced coffee if I go to any coffee shop, but Darren typically gets espresso. I’ve just honestly never had it. I’ve had an espresso martini, but never cared to have an actual espresso. 

After finally trying it for the first time ever, I fell madly in love and INSTANTLY. I found myself wanting to go to Starbucks daily for it and I decided that was foolish. I am the one who talks about and lives to help others not allow price gouging to happen in their lives, so why would I pay $4 for a double shot of espresso when I could pay $90.00 for my own espresso machine and then make one daily for virtually pennies. Yes, $90.00. I don’t need the top of the line machine and neither do you. 

There are thousands of espresso machines on the Internet and yes, you could spend thousands of dollars on one, but why? Plus, to be honest, I am so annoyed to have to put another machine on my counter, so finding a more petite machine convinced me to go for it.

When you find something you love/enjoy outside of your home, figure out a way to make it at home and save thousands of $$$$ a year. Then, you can go on vacation or buy that designer bag, or even better put that money in your retirement fund because you have extra money.

Darren and I recently both purchased Teslas and had them wrapped in vinyl. Mine is Matte Black and Darren's is Nardo Grey. We hand wash our vehicles to help extend the longevity of the vinyl so we have had fun collecting all of the necessary gadgets to help make car washing a breeze.

At Easter, I gifted snackle boxes FILLED TO THE BRIM with yummy treats to both my kiddos and their significant others.  I have yet to post on it. The other day I was out and about and found a BETTER version than the one they all received. My office has NEVER included clutter and I mean ever.  I may have a few hours where it is messy because I am knee deep in a project, but clutter or 24/7 mess is not a part of my vocabulary.  As a matter of fact, it's quite the opposite that you may think I actually have NO business, rather than run (4) businesses.  LOL! NOPE! Just a self professing organization freak.
