Jax Loses His FIRST, FRONT TOOTH!

My youngest, aka "the baby", lost his first, front tooth finally.  Last week, while playing a wild game of playstation, it fell out after he hit his loose tooth with the remote (on accident).  Owie! The tooth fairy was NOT prepared for this to be the day, but praise God he had some time to hustle to the store, haha, during football practice.  He was a really kind tooth fairy!  After all, the front tooth is a pretty big deal.  Jax had been begging for some new wrestling men, so he brought him this awesome bucket of goodies (which included not one, BUT TWO new wrestlers) . . .
He left him a receipt for his tooth, but then decided...
Losing his front tooth was such a big deal that he would let him keep this ONE tooth! "Tooth Fairy Hairy" is so kind!
The packaged included 15 WWF wrestling trading cards.
Jax's favorite sour skittles.
Mentos gum!
Seamus and Fandango PLUS a $20.00 bill.  Wow!!!
Now we know what Jax can ask Santa for, for Christmas! This will be a cheap Christmas.  LOL!

Jaxey Lost His First Tooth!!!

Has it really been 11 days since I last posted?  WHAT.IN.THE.WORLD?  I have a few small excuses.  1. I dropped my camera and the flash broke.  Mr. Cannon is in the repair shop.  2. I got a new camera, Sony a6000 and I don't know how to use it well. 3. I am leaving tomorrow for a weekend getaway with my lovely hubby and I have been killing myself to get out of town! Cleaning every single crack and cranny, not an ounce of laundry in sight, packing for me and three kids (who are staying with friends), loading the fridge with lovely foods for the dog sitter, and still doing daily life! I can finally breath and relax starting tomorrow.

ANYWAY! Back to Jax.  Our baby, yes he's the baby, lost his first tooth.  It had been loose, but we were used to that meaning a few more days before it fell out.  Jax was snacking on an apple and all of the sudden he started to cry (typical) and his mouth was bloody.  He was so scared, but Darren came to his rescue and reassured him that he lost his first tooth.  It all happened FAR TOO FAST. I would have loved to of documented MORE, but I couldn't.

Here are some sweet photos that I did get though.

Jax immediately wanted to work on writing a note to the tooth fairy.
While he wrote, he held his mouth like this.  Haha.  This is where I wish I could insert the emoji that cries.
Simply precious.  I love my brown eyed boy.
Darren printed Jax this certificate. We both died with laughter because it's supposed to be something you get FROM the tooth fairy.  Good thing Jax didn't get it.
Under the pillow it went.
Jax was also dying to know if the tooth fairy was a "he or a she?"
I have yet to snap a photo of what the tooth fairy brought Jax.  BUT...HE did leave a $10 bill and a note.

The Tooth Fairy Is A SHE! This Post Is #Proof

Lilah is growing up before our very own eyes! Celebrating milestones and traditions are so important to me.  My motto is, "Every little thing is a BIG deal!" so I make sure to do what I can to make life memorable.  When Lilah lost her first tooth, I was really not prepared. I thought I would be sure to be prepared for tooth #2, but sadly, it came far too fast.  OH WELL!  So, Lilah lost tooth #2.  BIG brother was at the Glenvar/Giles game, so Lilah and Jax spent a ton of time together working on preparing for the tooth fairy's arrival.
There was lots of discussion about whether the tooth fairy was a GIRL or BOY!?!?!?! Little (like Tinker Bell) or Big (like us)?!?!?!
First, they colored a few pictures and wrote a few notes!
The front of the coloring sheet read: "Look on the back!"  The Toothfaire is awesome!" I Love Him or her!"
The back read: "We love you.  I love you.  Take this picture."
THEN: Lilah made a note and left a gift IF the tooth fairy was a girl.
She left her a hair clip and a bracelet.  I love the smiley face she drew inside.  LOL!
Being goofy!
Jax left a note and gift if the tooth fairy was a boy!
Jax left a lego figurine.  LOL!
Of course, we also had to leave the tooth, but that was left under the pillow.
There's that beautiful, toothless smile!
They were SOOOOOO excited to go to bed and wake up to find out if the fairy was a boy or girl.
So?!?!?!?! What it a SHE or a HE? She was a SHE!!! And SHE left LILAH a few goodies. First, she left her a tini tiny envelope with a note inside.
A new BIG EYES stuffed animal.  Lilah has started quite the collection of these.
PINK Fairy dust.... and you can read what the note said below!
Hi Lilah,

I decided to type you a note. I hope you can see it!!!
I heard you could barely read the note from your 1st tooth fairy.
How exciting that you lost tooth #2.
My wings fluttered when I saw how much time you & your brother
Put into leaving not only your tooth, but a surprise for me.
Thank you so much!  By the way, I am a girl!!!
I could barely fly with the bracelet.  It was making my flying difficult,
So I am sorry I left the gorgeous daisy clip.  Will you leave it with your next tooth?
I LOVE YOU TOO!

Love ~North Peppertree

PS. I hope you like your goodies!!!
++PLUS++ $5.00
She was so excited!!!! When she woke up, she said, "I was so sad because I looked under my pillow and there was nothing there, not even my tooth."  THEN, Jax said, "Oh! What's that over there?" Eventually, they saw that the tooth fairy left her goodies on her dresser.  Anyway, she found me getting ready for church and said, "MOM!!!! You have GOT TO COME TO MY ROOM! Wait until you see what I found.  AND GUESS WHAT?!?! The tooth fairy is a TINY girl!"

Lilah Loses Tooth #2

My kids lose their teeth in a fairly delayed fashion, meaning at a later age than their friends.  Lilah's first tooth was loose on a Monday and by Friday, BAM.  Almost exactly one month later, her second tooth was loose, again, out of no where, and then within three days BAM, it was gone.  We had a little fun removing Lilah's second tooth after several painful encounters with her wiggly tooth and eating food. I spoke to Lilah about the old fashioned string and door slamming trick.  Surprisingly, she chose to go find string dental floss on her own and asked if we could give it a whirl.  We tried it a few times, but I wasn't slamming the door hard enough.  Part of the problem was that the door was glass pained and I thought I would break the glass, but I was also worried, naturally, I would hurt Lilah.  We decided to give it ONE LAST TRY, 3rd times a charm, switching doors and door slammers haha!!!! Darren was the volunteer for that task.

Enjoy the video below.  I counted, "1, 2,..." expecting to get to 3, Darren chose to slam the door.  He claims slamming the door at the count of 2 is why it was so successful.  "No one was expecting it!!!", he exclaimed.  Lilah was brave, shocked, excited, and relieved.  HOWEVER, once she tasted blood, her excitement turned to nervousness and the water works began. My next post will be about what the tooth fairy brought her!

A FINAL NOTE WAS LEFT IN "SISSY'S" ROOM! It's read...
I found this youtube video and I thought it would be cute to fill his 9 teeth in a dollar bill basket. I ran out of time to make it, so I bribed my dear friend Erin (she seems to take care of my last minute details these days) to make it for me.  On our way home from putt-putt, I picked it up.  She did a great job!

This was such a blast for ALL of our kids.  It was fun to watch them run all over our home, both inside and out.  Lilah even said, "Mommy, when I get 9 lost teeth, can I have a tooth fairy hunt too?"  That made me realize that this was a memorable and pleasurable experience.
I captured all the fast paced details on video.  My hubby helped me, by compiling all of the footage, and making it a little more enjoyable to watch.  The ONLY THING we are waiting on NOW if for Tyson's TEETH to grow back.  He looks like a Jack-o-latern right now :)
