Where In The World Is Kristin Bolling?

Have you ever seen that week long segment on the Today Show where they send one of their hosts to different countries and you have to figure out, based on some clues or background sceneries, where they are? I feel like I am the host in question.  Over the last 3.5 weeks, I have traveled to (3) different cities for (3) different National competitions/games.  It was a ton of fun.  It was extremely expensive. And if I am honest, it was slightly exhausting.  Haha. It would have been nice for these events to be spread out over the course of the Summer, but I had zero control over the when

A Pipe Dream!

A pipe dream: by definition is an unattainable or fanciful hope or scheme. And that's what an employer what's said I was aiming for in my hopes and wants for a job I was interviewing for.

I went on a job interview one day and when the boss asked what I was expecting from this job opportunity, I replied with the following... See the dialogue below.

Day #2 - Islands Of Adventures

On Day #2 of our trip, we started out at Islands Of Adventures! This is an Orlando park that I had never been to before, which is always nice to explore a "FIRST" at 42 years of age. None of us knew what to expect, but we were excited. I did prepare the birthday twins with matching minion shirts though and they were so exited and appreciative.  Other than the fact that my shirt is CRAZY SEE THROUGH (SMH) do yo notice what is on it? Bananas!!!! Minions favorite!

LipSense Facts, Myths, And Funnies!

Can it be so that I have yet to do an “educational” post on LipSense? I guess it’s all that I see to talk about on my business pages, so I just assumed everyone already knows the facts. But the reality is... LipSense is still something that so many people have no clue about. And then, there’s those people who think it’s too pricey or worse, think a cheapy brand from Walmart is just as good. NEGATIVE AND NEGATIVE, to BOTH. Here are some important and fun facts about LipSense.

Tulsa Bound!

Well, the day has arrived.  Our Company's 20th Anniversary "EVOLVE" Seminar is this weekend. I have been signed up for almost a full year.  I am beyond thankful to my amazing husband for giving me this opportunity to EVOLVE/grow both personally and professionally.  I went bed at midnight, prepping for my departure and had to wake up at 3:00 a.m. to shower.  Even if I am tired, I will NOT let my body feel it. I'll just play catch up when I get home.  I am Tulsa Bound until Monday morning.

Day 1 - Universal Studios Orlando

As previously mentioned, Darren and I had plans to do Universal Studios on Saturday and Islands of Adventure on Sunday BUT, we found out that our tickets were "BOGO:  buy one day at Universal, get another day at Universal for FREE!" We didn't find this out until we were standing in our hotel lobby picking up our tickets. SO, after we ate lunch, we headed to Universal Studios to begin our adventure.  We aren't those types of people that grab a park map and design a plan.  We just aren't planners normally, so we certainly didn't want to start become a planner on vacation. Truthfully, I think our days are filled with so much routine and so much scheduling as it is, that it would have been more like work, instead of fun to "map" it all out.

Hollywood Dance Jamz - 2019

Life seems close to insane lately.  As of last week, I was preparing and planning for (3) events/trips ALL within the next 30 days.  In addition to two dance competitions and basketball tournaments.  What a whirlwind.  I am thankful that ONE of those travel events is now complete.  Lilah had her first out of town dance competition in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was called Hollywood Dance Jamz. It was an entire fun-filled packed weekend of convention classes and dance competitions.  Lilah was blessed to be taught by choreographers who have worked with celebrities such as Brittney Spears, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, Pink, Nelly, Taylor Swift, Ricky Martin, and  Busta Rhymes are just to name a few.  Lilah was super excited to spend the entire weekend with her dancing friend Ella, attend convention classes, and compete.

Happy Birthday "BIG D"!

I haven't posted in 5 days... for a GOOD REASON... my Hubby's Big D's birthday was yesterday and outside of an amazing sales week/appointments with customers and LIFE, my main focus was shopping, planning, and designing his day to be as special as possible. It's is getting harder and harder to make things special and unique because we have everything and we have been together since we've been 15 1/2.  I'm doing the best I can to continue making his birthdays as amazing as he is.

World Class Talent Entertainment - 2019

Wow! Has it really been five days since I have posted? Life has been CRAZY, with a capital C.  I just couldn't spend time at my computer last week. There were far too many pressing things happening, like... Valentine's Day, classroom parties, basketball games, basketball practices, dance practices, and a dance competition just to name a few....

The BEST Self-Tanner EVER!

Would you like a healthy way to feel tan?  I have the product for you.  Our self-tanner has our proprietary ingredient, SenePlex Complex, which is a kinetic enzyme that works to affect the way your cells grow.  This enzyme helps your skin cells grow from the bottom layers of the skin to the top.  It also fights the signs of aging by supporting the renewal of your skin cells by an average of 23.3% MORE RAPIDLY than any other product on the market. Our bottle is non-aerosol AND contains a FULL 4-ounces. Our selfless tanner also produces a streak free look AND it smells AMAZING.

I'm not going to lie... I had my own SELF-DOUBT about our self tanner BECAUSE no self tanner has EVER produced positive results for ME.  AND THAT'S WHY, I wanted to PERSONALLY USE IT before actually selling it.

NOW, the doubt has been REMOVED.  I am so excited to share my BEFORE and AFTER photos with you. The look that ONE application produced, make me feel like I have been to the tanning bed for several weeks. I am very satisfied.
NO streaking.  No orange glow.  Just a beautiful natural look!
I am VERY self conscious of my legs, so please know in order for me to post these photos, you must know that the results produced a confidence in me that I have NEVER had.
"Cross my heart, hope to die, stick a needle in my eye!"  ZERO FILTERS, zero editing, JUST before and after PHOTOS of my self-tanning bronzing coconut milk lotion. These photos were taken exactly 24 hours apart (at 5:45 pm). Same spot. Same arms and legs.

Oh Christmas Tree!

"Oh Christmas Tree.  Oh Christmas Tree.  You're beautifully filled with product!"
Being a lipsense distributor is RIGHT UP MY ALLEY! I get to own my own business. It's flexible. I get to play with make up.  I feel like I've gained 250+ new lady friends.  AND I choose to be creative, which if you've been following me long enough... you know how much I love that.

Every day I am in business, it's an opportunity to raise the bar.  It's a chance to share the most amazing products in a clever way.  In the month of December, I did my best to utilize the holiday to be a tad more creative and entertaining as a lipboss. One day, I created an Christmas tree with some of our products.  I LOVED the way it turned out. I had a little bit of a difficult time actually capturing it, but overall.... it drove the message home.

Is there anything on this tree you are interested in trying? Don't forget... I have everything in stock.  I ship for free.  And I have no problem delivering too... as long as it's within a reasonable distance from my home.  Contact me today 540.520.1853.

Volumizing Mascara and Pencil Liner!

Back in October, my company, SeneGence, released two of the BEST products we offer, IF NOT the best (2) products that we offer, outside of LipSense: Volumizing Intense Mascara in black and black/brown AND drumroll..... A PENCIL LINER!!!!!!

Our mascara wand, ALONE, took over a year to design.  This mascara is NOT JUST mascara. For $28.00 you are NOT only receiving the best mascara and wand, but you are also receiving a mascara that has a POLYPETIDE in it, which GROWS your lashes LEAPS AND BOUNDS, by 46% in just 4 weeks.

Here are the BEFORE & AFTER pictures, of me, of mascara application.
Above: One eye with and one eye without.
Below: Both eyes with.
AND, just a little fun fact, our company sold MORE mascara in October than it sold LipSense, which is the product we are KNOWN for.  It was released in October and sold out in October and we JUST got it back in stock about a week ago.  Can you believe it? My hubby joked saying, I can build multiple grocery stores in the time it takes for you all to restock your mascara.
Our pencil liner is the first ever pencil liner that our company has produced. BUT IT's FULLLLLLY waterproof.  You have to watch the video below to really grasp how waterproof it is. This liner comes in black and brown. I ordered 13 of each color and within one day I sold out.  I was blown away by the popularity of these products, but because they work just like LipSense, people were anxious to get their hands on them.
If you are anxious to get your hands on a waterproof mascara or pencil liner that truly is made to LAST ALL DAY... contact me.  540.520.1853 or  at my business website. Let me be your LipBoss!

WOW! Life Has Been INSANE!

Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! I just went to "Blogger" to see when I last posted and I am so sad to SEE that it has been ALMOST a FULL 2 MONTHS! This has absolutely NEVER happened before.  My back log is so long, I'd have to be bed ridden for two months or longer to get caught up.  I have been very diligent to post on Instagram because it is so quick and easy.  BUT my BLOG is truly my baby and where my passion began, so I will NEVER give this up. I just had to let blogging take a back seat for these last two months.  What has been keeping me so busy aside from NORMAL life responsibilities that we all have?

Well... Lilah was casted to be an orphan, in ANNIE, as you may have previously read.  This required her and I to drive (3) nights, per week, to Fincastle. Most nights we were not getting home until close to 10:45 pm.  And she wasn't just in theater.  She is a competitive dancer, at Divine Dance Center, taking (4) classes and practicing for (1) duo, plus cheerleading, which has since ended, and NOW basketball.  Here are a few sneak peaks of her Annie memories.  Clearly, I will be posting them all very sooon! Lilah had (9) shows, three weekends back to back.  Again, our drive to Fincastle is 34 minutes, there and back, on a GOOD day.
Tyson was injured back in September.  He tore his tendon in his ring finger.  Otherwise known as "Jersey Finger".  It sounds like nothing, but it was actually very intense.  He had to go through hand surgery and (12) full weeks of occupational therapy.  The therapy required him to get out of class early, 2-3 days per week, and we had to drive a good 32 minutes away to his therapy appointments AND back.  Round trip, with the appointment time included, we were tied up for a good 2 hours, again 2-3 per week for 12 weeks.
We never thought that basketball would be an option this year.  However, he tried out with one hand, made the team, and was granted the captain of his team. Not only did he get released, to play during before the middle school season was over, but the JV coach called me and asked if Ty would be able to move up to JV after his middle school season was over.  God is so good! Ty was the only one chosen to move up.
Our Jax was in football and is now on not one, but TWO basketball teams.  One local youth program and one traveling, AAU team.  He keeps us equally as busy as we cart him back and forth to practices, games, and film sessions.
My LipSense business hit an entirely NEW level over the last two months.  I had my absolute best month, since being in business, in November. It was truly unprecedented both financially and personally.  I feel so empowered and beyond grateful and blessed to be a part of such a fabulous company.  I thoroughly enjoy meeting so many new women and being able to share my love of SeneGence with them. I currently have (37) ladies under me.
I ranked (3) different times in only two months. I know that seems impossible right? I ranked two times in my outter circles and once in my inner circles.  I received a ruby ring, a ruby pin, and my sapphire pin is on it's way! I am now ranked "LADY" within the company.
I got ONE foot of hair cut off and donated it to Pantene's donating program.  I feel lighter, haha.
My mom and dad moved here in July.  Life has been filled with trying to help them get settled into a new place.  I was able to celebrate their birthdays with them. in October and then in November.  I redid parts of their bedrooms and that took a ton of back and forth to their home and to stores trying to get it all color coordinated and looking beautiful/gorgeous.
And our elves have arrived.  This task alone, because of the way I do it, is enough to be a TRUE full time job! They have really gotten themselves into a ton of fun, messy, and eventful situations.  It's a wonderful memory and tradition, but it is very time consuming.  You can catch all of our elf shenanigans on my Instagram account @BollingWith5 AND/OR look up hashtag, "ElfOnTheShelfBW5".

These are just a FEW of the things that we have had going on, but rest assured there were 1,000 other things in between, like my sisters came to visit, a LipSense party, Thanksgiving, Christmas Shopping, banquets, a cast party, doctor appointments, dentist appointments, haircuts, Christmas decorating, birthdays, and so much more.  I appreciate your patience as we try to do life. I know my faithful followers will stay put regardless of the quantities of times I am able to post, but it is my intention to get back into the grove.  I love you all.  AND from our family to yours,

WE wish you a very Merry Christmas and a HAPPY New Year!

Happy Halloween! ~2018

Halloween Day is always so incredibly hectic.  I plan and I plan and I plan.  I collect and I collect and I collect, but I NEVER have time to put things ALTOGETHER until the DAY OF and that makes the day slightly stressful.  I recall dripping sweat for the last 4 Halloweens in a row.  My kids have had costumes for weeks and pretty much months, but the day before Halloween they informed me that they couldn't wear them.  Jax had an inflatable costume.  He wore it to his Fall Festival at school, but he said it would be too difficult to really enjoy trick or treating.  Lilah had the most hilarious and comfortable costume, that she also wore to her school's Fall Festival, but she didn't want to wear the gigantic mask.  She feared it interfering with her fun. So YOU GUESSED IT... the DAY OF Halloween, I was standing in the Halloween Store, trying to piece mill what they had left, to help create my kids' costume desires.

Lilah wanted to be a Zombie Cheerleader.  It was a pretty simple costume.  Obviously, she already had her cheer uniform and pom poms. I purchased a long sleeve, white t-shirt from Wal-mart and socks (featured below) from the Halloween Store.  Our local party store sold me some fake, washable blood, and an axe headband that made it appear as if Lilah got axed.
I used my company's Snow ShadowSense and Onyx ShadowSense to create the dead look.
Of course, she played the part to a T.
Jax wanted to be the clown from the movie "IT". With only a one day's notice, before Halloween, I was truly limited on options unless of course I wanted to pay $59.99 for the exact "IT" mask. So... close enough.
Same deal: I purchased a white, long sleeve shirt from Wal-mart, splattered fake blood all over it, and hot glued clown buttons to the shirt. Our local party store, Fun Times, supplied the clown buttons and red helium balloon.
Pretty creepy!
Well aren't they just the cutest twins ever!?
Tyson claimed that he wasn't going trick or treating. AH...NEGATIVE.  He wasn't going to sit home, on Halloween, night and play playstation.  I gave him the option to pass out candy or come with us. I didn't force him to dress up, but if he was going to collect candy, he had to wear something other than civilian clothing.  He wanted to wear his regular clothing and carry his book bag around.  He said, "I'll just go as a teenager!" I told him that was fine, but it had to be TEEN WOLF.  I picked up a self adhesive, instant werewolf patch. LOL! He wasn't crazy about it. This is a hard stage for him. He is turning into a young man, but still desires and should be able to enjoy being a kid. Doesn't he look so thrilled? This was the ONLY photo he would give me.
It's always fun seeing all of our friends dressed up!
The day was so hectic that I didn't even have time to put on makeup or even consider costume for myself.  Darren always says I look like a drug addict without my makeup on, so when he walked through the door, after work, he said, "Are you going as a heroin addict tonight?" HYSTERICAL.  Shoot, that works!  So we joked and said we were dressed up as Meth Addicts. "This is your brain on drugs."
It was the night of the Zombies.  Sort of like a Zombie Apocalypse.  Haha.  And leave it to Darren to create comedy out of comedy.  He was trying to give this poor guy CPR.
Because our kids are still "trick or treating" eligible, we have to leave our candy out on the front stoop.  We leave it up to the parents and kids to follow the honor code.
Halloween didn't seem too crowded.  Darren even mentioned that it seemed quiet and vacant.
We came home and ate dinner together.  The kids sorted their candy! Jax created a hidden picture for me, in Lilah's sorted candy!
NOW... what to do with ALL OF THIS CANDY!? Sometimes we trade it in to a local dentist's office for cash.  But... as my kids get older, I am not sure they will fall for that. I pray I can keep my hands off of it.

I hope your Halloween was filled with laughter, great memories, and you arrived home safely.
