Our Desperation Is Healed!

When we are born, we are at a state of desperation and totally depraved. Our greatest need in this world-male or female, married or single, young or old, rich or poor- is to be reconciled to God. We are so sinful, we cannot come close to God, therefore, our greatest problem is not physical, financial, or emotional, but spiritual.

"but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear." ~Isaiah 59:2

BUT GOD...

"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit. ~1 Peter 3:18-19

Christ's work on the cross bridged the inability for us to see God face to face one day. The divide between sinful man and holy God was resolved. This was Christ's ultimate triumph and the only way our sins could be rescued.

The righteous + the unrighteous = the great exchange. And now, our desperation is healed. AMEN
