Jax had his first sleepover, at our home, on Thursday night.
Of coarse, it was no other than COHEN. his "only friend".
They started off with building a road for their cars.
Then getting into costume! Spiderman was a given.
Since it was raining,
We had to settle for the indoor bounce house
Vs. the water slide bounce house.
Then they turned the slide into a race track!
Dinner: PIZZA
Dessert: Cotton Candy Ice Cream
Cohen exclaimed, "Mmmmm, this is the BEST ice cream ever!"
No playdate with boys is complete without SPORTS!
Basketball fun!
Ashely (Cohen's Momma) wrote him a note that we read to him before bed.
This is a little something they routinely do every night!
"HUG"
"KISS"
"little, HIGH Five"
Then off to bed!
The next day started at 5:54 am, in the "John"!!
Like two little old men...
One pooped, while the other watched.
AND... they were having a FULL BLOWN conversation.
And then some air hockey!
They truly are BEST BUDDIES!
I loved this passage that Ashely shared on her blog...
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
AWWW I love love loved looking through these pictures. He looked like he was having so much fun. Thank you for loving on our boy. I pray their friendship continues through the years and they become brothers in Christ. We just love your family! ps. Cohen keeps asking me to buy him some basketball thing that you had, like a little one? He said "just get Mrs. Kristin to send you a picture so you can see what i'm talking about" lol.
ReplyDeleteps. BOTH their facial expressions when they are in their spiderman costumes are HYSTERICAL.
