After the kids greeted Ty and met several of the baseball players, the boys wasted NO TIME heading over to the wiffle ball field to playball. This was se"riotously the best part about the party! I have never heard so much laughter nor have I seen so much smiling coming from Ty's face in my entire life. I told Darren, "We should have just designed a wiffle ball field in our backyard and we could have saved ourselves quite a bit of money!
All of the boys invited to the party play baseball, so they were all very aware of the rules and how to play the game!
The boys created two teams. I am not sure how they did it, but they did it very fast and without arguing.
Ty was the pitcher!
Even Aliza tried to be on one of the teams. We told her she was too young, but that she could be the "ball lady!"
Oh no! The birthday boy is about to get PEGGED!
On the other team, Gabe was pitcher. Just like real life.
This was a co-ed team! Haha.
And there was no age requirements. Hehe!
Even some of the giant friends joined in! One mommy and two daddies. I just took pictures.
There was so much competition, but it was fun competition. No harsh back and forth arguing about rules etc.
So close... but MISS!
Daddy is up to bat!
There's some of that smile and laughter that I told you about.
Dirty bottom from baseball clay!
"TWO strikes!"
Lilah FINALLY decided to join a team and try it out. She was afraid she wouldn't know how to play and she would be embarrassed. It didn't take her long to realize how much fun it was and to give it a whirl.
"Run Liley, Run!"
Ty thinks he's invincible, but he's not. LOL! Pastor Brett got him out in a comical way!
He even smiled as he pitched! Wiffle ball was just A BLAST!
Daddy ended the game with a Grand Slam. He hit it over the scoreboard!!!!
The End!
