Happy Father's Day Daddy!!! (2014)

It's insanely hard for me to accept that I have been so behind on things that we JUST celebrated Father's Day!  OH WELL! As they say, "Better Late, Than NEVER!" From the beginning of time,1992, Darren and I have always made certain to take those extra special times, set aside, to show one another love and.... SHOW ONE ANOTHER LOVE!  It was eating away at me that I had yet to celebrate the gift that Darren is to our children.  I knew exactly what I wanted to buy, create, bake, cook, and do for him, but it was JUST a matter of time... time... time..... I have no time lately, as I am temporarily a FULL-time mommy to three, with NO BREAK. It's all good, but dragging three kids to the mall or to run errands has been less than desirable.  I had no choice though, so last Thursday, I dragged Mo, Larry, and Curly to shop for daddy.  What could have taken me 1 hour, took me 5 and about $30 extra dollars.
When Darren arrived home from the pool, with the kids, he was presented with his gifts.  Can you see the little trophies we left for him in the above picture?  Hahaha.  Darren loved them! Below, he's holding up his trophy for being the best daddy in the world! He was making fun of how small the trophy was.  It may be small, but he is a BIG blessing to all of us.  As a matter of fact, I couldn't do life with 3 kids without him.  He is a God send.
"Behind every good kid is a GREAT dad!"
His big gifts were a hammock and a new blue ray dvd player!
We are NOT the type of people to RELAX, we are the OPPOSITE of relax... UPTIGHT, so I am not sure how often the hammock will be used by us.  However, it is a great item to lure the kids outside, for a whole 2 minutes.
I could also force them to take their naps out there. LOL! Or better yet, now I have a place to hide, when I need a break.  Hehe
Darren, thank you for all that you do for this family.  You are definitely a faithful, loyal, loving, hard-working, fun, funny daddy! The kids will cherish every last minute that you spend with them and when they are parents, they will use what they've modeled in you, with their own children.

He who fears the LORD has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge. ~Proverbs 14:26

These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gate.
~Deuteronomy 6:6-9
