We waited patiently for our new blog to be published before posting the pictures of our New Year's Eve night out. Darren and I were really looking forward to a nice evening out with our closest friends AND without the kiddies. Aaron and Lisa Fernandez were kind enough to host a celebration filled with all kinds of yummy food/drink, wonderful fellowship, "catch phrase" fun, and a safe return home. There truly is no other group I would rather have spent our New Year's Eve with. We were lacking a few "peeps" from our small group, but the there's no question, they were definitely there with us in spirit.
1 Peter 4:9 says, "Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling."
Aaron and Lisa, you two are so good at being hospitable. You certainly do it without grumbling. God is glorified in that. Thank you for being such a good role model for me. I love to host things, but the preparation of doing it stresses me out, so I tend not to host anything BUT my children's birthday parties. LOL! Okay, I am not that bad, but.... I could certainly grow and learn from your endless examples of showing hospitality.

Dennis and Darren were under the mistletoe. LOL!
Darren was not interested.
Rest assured.... that was Perrier Water!
It really is possible to have fun without alcohol. I promise.
You could tell Nathan wanted NO part of this.
He's one of our deacons, so he knew better.
The only problem is... Dennis is also a deacon. LOL!
Dennis, Nathan, Erin, and Darren finally get serious.
And now it's our turn to "strike a pose" and be silly.
The guys are cooler than the girls.
