Food Scale

Bless their hearts—they think ‘a handful’ is a measurement and ‘looks about right’ is precision. One food scale later and suddenly they’re in the witness protection program from their own pantry.

It’s true. Without a food scale, you would be utterly shocked how much you’re over eating, EVEN HEALTHY  foods. Foods like broccoli and chicken. 

I’m down 13 “pounds” in 13 days, because of these reasons ⬇️. I’d love to share my food scale link 🔗 with you. (BTW: I realize not all 13 pounds is probably weight. Some of it is definitely water weight).

RISING at 5 AM fo put ME FIRST. Not my customers, not my family, not my pets, not the demands of this world. I make myself breakfast. Drink 16 ounces of water. Then head downstairs for a one hour walk

I also do the Vibration Plate two times a day, but I do not count that as exercise.

Are you getting my point? And you may be thinking, no fun. I thought that too the first week. And every additional week it’s easier and easier. This is just for a timeframe. And then I will allow myself to have small splurges on the weekends. November and December we’re busy and semi stressful. We decided to live. But “living” looks different when you don’t care versus when you do care

Your body is made in the kitchen, not the gym. The gym helps for sure, but a one hour workout is only 4% of your day.

And may I just add… It’s treated literally like a part-time job. It’s not for the faint of heart those looking for immediate results. It’s a lifestyle. I jumped off the cart in in some ways, in November and December and wow it’s amazing how quickly two months can destroy a body, even if you’ve been working out for three decades.

Ladies and gents,  eyeballing portions is adorable… right up until your ‘healthy’ breakfast clocks in at 1,200 calories.

I will place captions underneath my photos. Some of them are obvious and others not so much. I would say education is key. Educate yourself otherwise you’re just gonna chronically fail.
