TODAY's the day! My last two babies were sent off to public school, to learn everything there is to know... IN KINDERGARTEN! If I am honest, I did not cry. I think I was so caught up in the moment, the time crunch, and capturing photos, there was no real opportunity to cry. However, despite my lack of emotions, I am a realist and this is real life and it's time! Time for these sweet children to enter into the world and learn, explore, and be social butterflies. My prayer is that their love for our King is shared with all of the children they go to school with. I can just hear Lilah now..."That is NOT glorifying to God!" She asked me yesterday, "Mom, what if someone at school says....?" and I said, "What do you think you should do?" And she said, "Tell them that that is NOT glorifying to God!" I am so proud!
"The Push"... it's a need for success in life! They were "pushed" into the loving care of Mrs. Rottkamp and Ms. Dixon today! It is my supreme act of love, one of the greatest gifts I could ever give, and it will change their lives FOREVER!
Be on the look out for all of the photos that I took of their exciting first day back-to-school!
PS. If I may redeem myself, to those of you who have placed judgement on me for not crying, this VIDEO did make me cry, as well as cause goosebumps.
Congratulations! i wanted to send a bunch of Kindergarten classroom items for the children. I purchased them from Teachers Pet. It includes a calendar, numbers, months, and seasons, etc. Would you like to have them? They could play pretend school. I do not know if they would be interested in playing school. Let me know. Love Mom
